Dr. Shrawan Kumar is recognized as the Father of Neonatology in Bihar for his pioneering work in the field. He was the first to introduce neonatology in the state and has trained numerous doctors and healthcare workers to save sick babies. At our Children’s Hospital, we also offer Outpatient Department and vaccinations for children.

Dr. Shrawan Kumar brought hope to sick and premature babies in Bihar by establishing the first neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the state over 30 years ago. Equipped with advanced medical equipment, our ICU has seen tremendous success in the recovery of extremely sick babies. In the past, we were able to save babies as small as 800 grams but now, with our improved technology, we are also able to save babies as small as 500 grams.
