Dr. Shrawan Kumar is the pioneer of Neonatology in Bihar so also recognized as Father of Neonatology in this state.
Committed to help others, he founded Bihar’s first Specialized Neonatal ICU and Emergency Center for sick newborns in 1998. Through workshops and awareness programs, Dr. Kumar has trained numerous doctors and healthcare workers to save sick babies in remote areas.

Just after admission in our NICU we do free ultrasound of Heart (ECHO) Brain and Chest for each and every baby.
So that we can diagnose immediately Critical Congenital Heart Disease and other critical issues and best management and guidance are being given as soon as possible.
It is important for sick babies to undergo an evaluation through an Echocardiogram (ECHO). Even though some babies may appear normal at birth, they may develop critical congenital heart diseases in the following days. By conducting ECHO on all sick babies, we can identify and provide early care and treatment, saving their lives. Our center is equipped with a bedside ECHO machine, ensuring prompt and efficient evaluations.
